YOUR NEXT HOLIDAY IN PROVENCE
Spend your next holiday in the South of France, in the southern part of the Rhône Valley, where the Gard and Vaucluse regions meet.
There is no doubt you will be charmed by one of the gites at our Bastide Le Luget – authentic, typical, and full of Provencal charm in all its glory.
The main building houses 2 gites of 65 m² and 85 m², while a 3rd gite of 65 m² is located in the former rampart of the property. The first two are separated by a superb inner courtyard, perfect for relaxing.
Set on 1 hectare of land, the Bastide enjoys a leisure park, a small grove with an open view of Mont Ventoux and the Mornas cliffs, a magnificent 15m x 6m swimming pool, and a small olive grove.

A BRIEF HISTORY
Built in 1743, the Bastide Le Luget was used for agricultural purposes for more than two centuries. Since then, a complete restoration has been carried out, respecting the original materials and the architecture of yesteryear.
The village of Vénéjan (Gard) is part of the “Petites cités de caractère“. A label that highlights its authentic charm, its stone houses typical of the region, and its historic heritage. The other undisputed point of interest in Vénéjan is its castle. Built on the site of an earlier fortified structure dating back to the 10th century, the current building was constructed in 1290 and later remodelled in the 17th century in Renaissance style. According to the Petites cités de caractère website, the castle also served as the residence of the families of Béziers, d’Ancezune and de Grignan, one of whose members married Marguerite de Sévigné, the daughter of the famous Marquise.
